The Redblacks opened up on the road in Saskatchewan, and suffered a 31-26 defeat to the Roughriders.
They then fell to 0-2 a week later as they dropped their home opener against Montreal, losing 39-18 to the Alouettes.
Ottawa finally got off the mark in Week 3 as they travelled to Calgary to beat the Stampeders 20-12, but they failed to back that up.
The Redblacks returned to losing ways last weekend, as they were beaten 29-16 by defending CFL champions Toronto.
Edmonton Elks Form
Edmonton return home still seeking their first victory of the 2025 CFL regular season.
The Elks began the season on the road and were beaten 31-14 by the Lions in British Columbia.
They went on their first bye week after that, but despite the extra preparation time they were unable to make a winning return to action.
Edmonton suffered a 38-28 defeat in their home opener against Montreal, and things did not get any better a week later.
The Elks paid a visit to Winnipeg last time out, and suffered a 36-23 defeat at the hands of the Blue Bombers.
Verdict
Neither team is off to a good start, but Ottawa have offered more reasons for optimism.
