Saskatchewan come into this game on the back of a surprise win that kept them right in the playoff hunt at 6-5.
The Roughriders made a solid start to the season as they won three of their first four games, with their only loss coming against Winnipeg, 45-27.
Their form tailed off in July though, as they lost 33-31 to Calgary, 19-8 at BC and 31-13 to Toronto.
Saskatchewan briefly stopped the rot with a 26-24 win over Ottawa, although that was immediately followed by a 41-12 defeat at Montreal.
The Roughriders responded to that loss in impressive fashion though, upsetting BC 34-29 and Winnipeg 32-30 (overtime) at home.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form
Winnipeg remain on course of the postseason despite suffering their third defeat of the season last time out.
The Blue Bombers opened with a 42-31 win against Hamilton, and backed that up with a 45-27 success at Saskatchewan.
They then sandwiched a 17-3 win at Montreal and 24-11 victory over Calgary with a 30-6 loss to BC and a 31-28 overtime defeat at Ottawa.
Winnipeg hit a hot streak after that though, with a 28-14 win against Edmonton sparking a five-game win streak that saw them beat BC 50-14, Edmonton 38-29, Calgary 19-18 and Montreal 45-17.
The Blue Bombers’ streak came to a shuddering halt last weekend though, as they were upset 32-30 in overtime in Saskatchewan.
Verdict
Last week was most likely an off-night for Winnipeg and they are backed to get their revenge with a convincing win here.
