The Blue Bombers have been a Grey Cup fixture in recent seasons, but those days appeared to be coming to an end when they lost six of their first eight games.
They kick-started their campaign at the start of August though, as a 25-0 shutout win over the BC Lions proved to be the start of this seven-game streak.
Winnipeg downed the Lions on the road, 20-11, and then followed up a 26-23 win over Hamilton with 35-33 and 26-21 wins over Saskatchewan before their second bye.
The Blue Bombers returned to action with a 27-14 win in Edmonton, before returning home to beat the Elks again, 55-27.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats Form
Hamilton return home looking to extend a four-game win streak that has kept them in the playoff picture at 6-9.
The Tiger-Cats made a miserable start to the season as they lost each of their first five games of the campaign.
They then failed to build on a couple of wins in July as they lost four more games to fall to 2-9 on the season.
Hamilton did stop the rot before their first bye though, beating Toronto 31-28, and they have built on that since returning to action.
The Tiger-Cats beat Ottawa 37-21 at home, before going out on the road to down Toronto 33-31 regulation and the BC Lions 32-29 in overtime.
Verdict
Winnipeg are the better team and we do expect them to come out on top here.
However, Hamilton have had a knack for running them close in recent seasons, especially at home, so give us the Tiger-Cats and the points.
