  • The Butterfield Bermuda Championship picks for November 9-12
  • The tournament takes place at the Port Royal Golf Course, Bermuda
  • Preview, predictions, stats & form
The PGA Tour returns to the Port Royal Golf Course for the fifth time, where the players will compete for top honors at the Bermuda Championship. Who will take home the winner's check come Sunday?

Seamus Power will not be back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Thomas Detry in 2022.

Past major winners in the lineup include Stewart Cink, Jason Dufner, Lucas Glover, and Adam Scott. Also competing are former winners of the Bermuda Championship: Lucas Herbert, Brian Gay, and Brendon Todd.

These are our top four picks that could win the title this weekend.

Brendon Todd

Brendon Todd's form was wayward for most of this year on the PGA Tour before turning the corner by placing T2 at the John Deere Classic, T49 at the Open Championship, T7 at the Wyndham Championship, T43 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T41 at the BMW Championship and 6th at the Fortinet Championship.

Other noteworthy performances achieved by Todd last season include finishing T7 at the CJ Cup, T21 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship.

The 38-year-old won the Bermuda Championship on debut in 2019 but missed the cut in the defence of his title in 2020.

Todd is capable of winning for the second time in Bermuda, as he has been playing well in recent months.

Akshay Bhatia

Akshay Bhatia secured his maiden PGA Tour title at the Barracuda Championship towards the end of July before his form dipped, missing back-to-back cuts at the Wyndham Championship and Fortinet Championship.

However, Bhatia has found some consistency in his game lately by placing T43 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, T35 at the Shriners Children's Open, T21 at the ZOZO Championship and T10 at the recent World Wide Technology Championship.

Other notable results achieved by the 21-year-old include placing T4 at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic (Korn Ferry Tour), T7 at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic (Korn Ferry Tour), 2nd at the Puerto Rico Open, T24 at the Corales Puntacana Championship and 4th at the Mexico Open.

The young American finished T17 on debut at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in 2022.

Bhatia played well in his previous two tournaments and will have a chance to lift the trophy in Bermuda if he can replicate those performances.

Ben Griffin

Ben Griffin has been out-of-sorts for most of the year on the PGA Tour but has rediscovered his touch on the golf course since July by placing T25 at the Genesis Scottish Open, MC at the Open Championship, T20 at the 3M Open and T24 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

He was then T2 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, MC at the Shriners Children's Open, T64 at the ZOZO Championship and T23 at the recent World Wide Technology Championship.

Additional highlights achieved by Griffin last season include finishing T16 at the Cadence Houston Open, T12 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T21 at the Honda Classic, and T14 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The 27-year-old American placed a credible T3 on debut at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in 2022.

Griffin has been in solid form lately and will fancy his chances to come out on top in Bermuda this weekend.

Mark Hubbard

Mark Hubbard started the new 2023/24 PGA Tour season in great touch, placing T17 at the Fortinet Championship and T6 at the Sanderson Farms Championship before his form became erratic, with results of MC at the Shriners Children's Open, T31 at the ZOZO Championship and MC at the World Wide Technology Championship.

Other prominent performances achieved by Hubbard last season include placing T20 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T11 at the RBC Heritage, T18 at the Mexico Open, T9 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T6 at the RBC Canadian Open, T6 at the John Deere Classic and T10 at the Barracuda Championship.

The 34-year-old has made three appearances at the Port Royal Golf Course, finishing T41 in 2019 and T22 in 2021 before missing the cut in 2022.

Hubbard had multiple top-10 places last season and should enter calculations this weekend.

Verdict

Todd won the inaugural Bermuda Championship and has the form to land his second championship this weekend.

Bhatia looked good in the last two starts and will fancy his chances to win his second PGA Tour title.

Griffin has been thereabouts in recent months and could make the frame at the Port Royal Golf Course.

Hubbard has not been at his best of late but was in solid form before his latest results and could upstage the others with the victory in Bermuda.
