The Giants avoided being swept thanks to an 11-10 win, but failed to back that up as they then lost 8-4 and 7-1 in Arizona.
Los Angeles Dodgers Form
Los Angeles come into this series in good form, having won five of their last six games.
The Dodgers struggled for consistency earlier this month, failing to string together wins between September 8 and 13.
They sandwiched a 7-6 defeat in Washington with 8-5 and 7-3 wins, only to then lose 11-8 and 6-1 at home to San Diego, either side of an 11-2 victory.
Los Angeles turned things around during that road trip though, travelling to Seattle to beat the Mariners 6-3, 6-2 and 6-1.
The Dodgers then won two of their first three home meetings with Detroit, beating the Tigers 8-3 and 3-2, before losing the final game 4-2.
Verdict
Los Angeles are the better team and remain in good form despite last night's loss, so we are confident that they will bounce back immediately.
