Sean Strickland is looking to get his career back on track after losing each of his last two fights.
Strickland established himself as a potential title contender with a six-fight win streak between October 2018 and February 2022.
The American middleweight started the run by knocking out Nordine Taleb, but it would be two years before he would fight again.
He made up for lost time though with a decision win against Jack Marshman, and just two weeks later he backed that up by knocking out Brendan Allen in the second round.
Strickland’s win streak then continued in 2021 as he claimed decision wins against Krzysztof Jotko and Uriah Hall.
He made a winning start to 2022 by edging Jack Hermansson by split decision, but that would prove to be his only win of the year.
The 31-year-old was knocked out in the first round by Alex Pereira, who went on to win the middleweight title later that year.
And in the final UFC event of 2022, Strickland dropped a split decision to Jared Cannonier to fall to 25-5.
Nassourdine Imavov Form
Nassourdine Imavov has climbed into the middleweight rankings by winning his last three fights.
Imavov debuted in the UFC in October 2020 and earned a unanimous decision win against Jordan Williams.
He lost his next fight, dropping a majority decision to Phil Hawes, but the Russian-born fighter has not lost since.
The 27-year-old got back to winning ways with a second-round TKO win against Ian Heinisch in July 2021.
Imavov then backed that up before the end of the year by also taking out Edmen Shahbazyan with strikes in the second round.
In his sole outing of 2022 he beat Joaquin Buckley by decision, improving his career record to 12-3.
