Houston go into this game having cooled off over the past few days, losing two of their last three games.
The Rockets began 2025 with a 110-99 win over Dallas, and then responded to a 109-86 defeat to Boston with a five-game win streak.
They beat the Los Angeles Lakers 119-115 at home, before recording back-to-back victories over Memphis, winning 119-115 on the road and 120-118 at home.
Houston then downed Denver 128-108 on the road, only to see their winning run end with a 132-127 defeat in Sacramento.
The Rockets bounced back to win 125-103 in Portland, but they failed to follow that up as they then lost 107-96 to Detroit.

Cleveland lead the NBA in wins this season and are backed to record another one here.
The Cavaliers have been winning and covering consistently on their travels, while Houston have been an unreliable spread bet at home in recent weeks.
