Cleveland arrive in the ‘Twin Cities’ on a solid run of form, having now won four of their previous five games.
The Cavaliers endured a disappointing run in the second half of December as they lost five times in the space of seven games, but they turned things around before the end of the year.
They ended 2024 with back-to-back victories as they downed San Antonio on the road, 113-101, and Phoenix at home, 129-113.
Minnesota then kicked off 2026 with a victory too as they took down Denver at home, 113-108.
The Timberwolves failed to make it back-to-back wins as they fell at home to Detroit, 114-110, but they did issue and immediate response on Tuesday as they won 120-116 at Indiana.

Minnesota also enter this matchup having tasted victory in four of their previous five games.
The Timbewolves enjoyed a fantastic run of form between late December and Christmas as they won 10 times in the space of 12 games.
They then cooled off as they followed up a Christmas Day defeat in Denver, 142-138 in overtime, with a 123-107 loss at home to Brooklyn, but they rallied to win 136-101 in Chicago.
Minnesota failed to back that up as they moved on to Atlanta to lose 126-102 to the Hawks in their final outing of 2025, but they have so far been perfect in 2026.
The Timberwolves kicked off 2026 with road wins in Miami, 125-115, and Washington, 141-115, before returning home to blowout the Heat, 122-94.

Both teams are on a decent run heading into this matchup, but it is Minnesota who have been much more convincing.
