Denver again failed to string together five consecutive wins, losing 107-104 in Houston, but they again they rebounded from a loss quickly.
The Nuggets beat the LA Clippers 111-108 in the In-Season Tournament on Tuesday night to stay unbeaten in the new competition.
New Orleans Pelicans Form
New Orleans come into this matchup looking to build on a win that snapped their five-game losing skid.
The Pelicans made a solid start to the season as they won four of their first five games, but the wheels came off in early November.
They suffered a 123-105 defeat at home to Atlanta, before going out on the road to lose 134-116 in Denver and 122-101 at Minnesota.
New Orleans’ bad run continued as they then lost 104-101 at Houston in the In-Season Tournament, and reached five games with a 136-124 defeat to Dallas.
The Pelicans finally ended their slide on Tuesday though, beating the Mavericks 131-110 to register their first tournament win.
