Los Angeles then bounced back from a 122-110 home defeat to Cleveland by beating Portland 114-106 and Atlanta 119-102 at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lakers failed to make it three-in-a-row however, as they were beaten 119-115 in Houston on Sunday.
Dallas Mavericks Form
Dallas return home for this matchup having seen their current losing skid reach five games in Memphis last night.
The Mavericks went into Christmas Day on the back of a couple of wins, having downed the LA Clippers 113-97 and Portland 132-108.
They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 105-99 to Minnesota on one of the biggest days of the basketball regular season, but they did rebound quickly to win 98-89 in Phoenix.
Dallas’ form nose-dived after that though, as they continued their road trip with defeats in Portland, 126-122, Sacramento, 110-100, and Houston 110-99.
The Mavericks then returned home for a 134-122 defeat to Cleveland, before heading to Memphis for a 119-104 defeat on Monday.
Verdict
Los Angeles arrive on the back of a loss, but they are in solid form and have been covering consistently.
Dallas, meanwhile, are struggling without Luka and Kyrie and they are also playing for the second night running, so give us the Lakers in this one.
