The Lakers lost three straight in late February, but sparked a turnaround with the 129-101 victory at Golden State to end the month.
They then backed that up at home as they downed Sacramento, 128-104, and New Orleans, 110-101.
Los Angeles failed to make it four-in-a-row as they fell 120-113 in Denver, but they issued an immediate and strong response with five straight victories at home.
The Lakers downed Indiana 128-117, New York 110-97, Minnesota 120-106, Chicago 142-130 and Denver 127-125 in overtime.
Houston Rockets Form
Houston come into this game having struggled for consistency over the past couple of weeks, splitting their last eight games.
The Rockets reeled off three consecutive victories in late February, but have been unable to string together wins since then.
That run was ended by a 115-105 loss in Miami, and although they rebounded to win 123-118 in Washington, they then feel 115-113 in overtime at home to Golden State.
Houston responded with a 106-99 victory over Portland, only to then lose 145-120 in San Antonio, and then failed to back up a 113-99 win against Toronto as they fell 129-93 in Denver.
The Rockets do enter this matchup on the back of a win though, having downed New Orleans at home last Friday night, 107-105.

Houston blew out Los Angeles on Christmas Day, but the Lakers have found a new gear in recent weeks.
