The 2023 NBA All-Star Game format is the same as the previous few years, with the two teams competing to win each quarter and raise money for their chosen charities.
The first, second and third quarters will each start with the teams at 0-0 and the team that scores the most points in 12 minutes wins that quarter.
Then, for the fourth quarter, the game clock will be switched off and the two teams will look to reach their Final Target Score first.
The Final Target Score is the total points scored by a team in the first three quarters plus 24 points.
