They backed that up on the road by beating Dallas 100-87, Chicago 116-108 and New York 103-100, before returning home to win four more games.
Oklahoma City downed Golden State 104-97, Denver 129-126, Boston 104-102 and Minnesota 116-103.
The Thunder then went back out on the road and have taken their streak to 12 games by beating Orlando 113-108, Brooklyn 121-92, Washington 132-111 and Philadelphia 123-103.

Boston come into this game on the back of a defeat, but in decent form having won eight of their 12 games this month.
The Celtics began March by following up a 114-98 home win against Philadelphia with a 108-81 victory in Milwaukee, and then answered a 118-189 defeat to Charlotte with back-to-back wins.
They downed Dallas 120-100 and Cleveland 109-98, only to then drop consecutive games as they fell 125-116 in San Antonio and 104-102 at Oklahoma City.
Boston responded strongly to those losses though, as they beat Washington 111-100, Phoenix 120-112 and Golden State 120-99 at home.
The Celtics then made it four-in-a-row on the road as they beat Memphis 117-112, only to see their run end when they returned home for a 102-92 defeat to Minnesota last weekend.
Verdict
Oklahoma City are on a tear right now, but that run has to end eventually and Boston are a solid pick to end it.
