They then returned home to beat Portland 139-88 and Orlando 112-100, before seeing their win streak end when they travelled to Los Angeles.
Oklahoma City lost 112-105 to the Lakers and 128-117 to the Clippers, only to issue a superb response with four consecutive wins.
The Thunder beat Utah 134-129 and Minnesota 102-97 on the road, returned home to down Portland 111-109, and then went back out on the road to defeat San Antonio 140-114.
New Orleans Pelicans Form
New Orleans enter this matchup on the back of a win, but they have struggled for form over the past few weeks.
The Pelicans saw a four-game win streak end with a 111-95 defeat to the LA Clippers, and although they bounced back to win the next two, they have been unable to find some consistency.
They had to bounce back from a 125-113 defeat in Denver with a 118-108 victory in Dallas, only to then lose the second meeting with the Mavericks, 125-120.
New Orleans rebounded with a 132-112 win at home to Charlotte, only to then suffer a 123-109 defeat when they hosted Phoenix.
The Pelicans were able to avoid back-to-back defeats though, pouring in the points in a 153-124 victory over Utah on Tuesday.
