College Football National Championship Odds – Alabama Backed To Retain National Title
- Alabama beat Ohio State in last season’s National Championship
- Crimson Tide +300 favorites ahead of +350 Clemson & +600 Ohio State
- The National Championship will be held on January 10, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN
Alabama are favorites to win the College Football National Championship.
The Crimson Tide lost several key in the 2021 NFL Draft, including QB Mac Jones and their Offensive and Defensives Players of the Game in their win over Ohio State in February.
Offensive co-ordinator Steve Sarkisian has also moved on, but the sportsbooks believe Alabama have the talent in place to overcome all of that.
The Crimson Tide are +300 favorites to win the 2021 College Football National Championship at bet365.
They do have Clemson breathing down their necks though as the Tigers move on from Trevor Lawrence.
D.J. Uiagalelei looked sharp when he filled in for Lawrence and the bookies believe he has the weapons around him to take the Tigers back to the National Championship.
Clemson are +350 second favourites, ahead of a +600 Ohio State team who are also moving on from a superstar QB.
Justin Fields led the Buckeyes to a shock playoff win over Clemson last season, but he did not have the tools around him to beat Alabama in the Championship Game.
Fields has since been drafted into the NFL and while there is no clear favorite to replace him, the Buckeyes’ system is likely to keep them competitive.
Oklahoma’s higly-rated offense makes them a +800 shot to win it all this season, with Georgia at +1000 as several analysts tip them to be a dark horse.
