Ohio State then took their record to 4-1 and climbed back up to seventh in the rankings with a 52-13 victory at Rutgers.
CJ Stroud returned last weekend and put in an efficient display, completing 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 330 yards and five scores.
Stroud, who succeeded Justin Fields this offseason, is 80/124 for 1,293 yards, 13 touchdowns and three picks this season.
He has a triple-headed monster at receiver to throw too with Garrett Wilson (462 yards, four TDs), Chris Olave (374 yards, five TDs) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (349 yards, three TDs) all producing.
Master Teague and Miyan Williams have both impressed in the run game, averaging 5.5 and 7.8 yards per carry respectively.
The backfield star is TreVeyon Henderson though. He has 597 yards from scrimmage as well as eight touchdowns. In the run game he is averaging 9.4 yards per carry.
