Houston head to Kansas City looking to follow up last weekend’s upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wildcard round.
The Texans opened the season with six wins in their first seven games, but cooled off over the second half of the season.
They lost five of their remaining nine games, with one of those defeats coming when they visited playoff opponents Kansas City in late December.
Houston lost that matchup 27-19, and that was followed by a 31-2 blowout defeat when they hosted Baltimore on Christmas Day.
The Texans had done enough to make the playoffs though, and having beaten Tennessee 23-14 in their regular season finale, they downed the Chargers 32-12 in their postseason opener.

Kansas City return from a bye week looking to move one step closer to an historic Super Bowl three-peat.
The Chiefs raced out of the blocks with nine consecutive victories, before finally seeing their tear end with a 30-21 defeat at the hands of Buffalo.
They rebounded immediately though, beating Carolina 30-27 a week later, and that proved to be the start of a six-game win streak.
Kansas City’s hot run secured playoff football with games to spare and included a 29-10 win at Pittsburgh on Christmas Day.
It also gave the Chiefs the luxury of being able to rest their starters on the final day of the regular season, resulting in a 38-0 defeat in Denver.
