New England enter this matchup looking to rebound from the loss to Buffalo, which ended their 10-game win streak.
The Patriots stumbled over the first few weeks as they lost two of their first three games, but a 42-13 blowout of Carolina proved to be the start of a tremendous run of form.
They backed up that victory on the road as they beat Buffalo 23-20, New Orleans 25-10 and Tennessee 31-13, before returning home to down Cleveland 32-13 and Atlanta 24-23.
New England then sandwiched a 27-14 win over the New York Jets with road wins at Tampa Bay, 28-23, and Cincinnati, 26-20, and made it 10-in-a-row by beating the New York Giants 33-15.
The Patriots failed to make it 11-in-a-row however, as they blew a big lead to lose 35-31 to Buffalo last weekend.
Baltimore Ravens Form
Baltimore enter this matchup having rebounded from a couple of defeats with their sixth victory in their last seven games.
The Ravens kicked off the campaign by blowing a lead to lose in Buffalo, and they then failed to back up a 41-17 win over Cleveland as they lost four straight games.
They finally stopped the rot with a 30-16 victory over Chicago, and that proved to be the start of a five-game winning run.
Baltimore beat Miami 27-6, Minnesota 27-19 and Cleveland 23-16 on the road, before returning home to down the New York Jets 23-10.
The Ravens then cooled off as they lost back-to-back home games, 32-14 to Cincinnati and 27-22 to Pittsburgh, but they rallied last weekend with a 24-0 shutout of the Bengals.
Verdict
Last weekend’s loss was a sickening one for New England, but this is not the time to panic.
