Philadelphia opened up on the road and were able to see off New England, 25-20, thanks to a couple of fourth-quarter field goals.
The Eagles then backed that up a week later, racking up 259 yards on the ground and four takeaways to down Minnesota, 34-28.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Form
Tampa Bay have been a surprise so far and take a perfect 2-0 record into this Monday night clash.
The Buccaneers were expected to struggle this season, following the retirement of legendary quarterback Tom Brady.
They got off to a fine start though in Week 1, as the defense registered three takeaways to lead them to a 20-17 victory at Minnesota.
Tampa Bay’s offense performed much better in Week 2 as Baker Mayfield took advantage of a none-existent Chicago pass rush.
He was able to pick apart the Bears secondary and the defense produced a timely pick six as the Buccaneers ran out 27-17 winners.
Verdict
Tampa Bay are off to a good start, but a meeting with Philadelphia will likely serve as a reality check.
The Eagles are yet to meet last season’s heights, but they are the better team on both sides of the football and can get the job done here.
