New York failed to make it five wins in a row, returning home to lose 3-1 to Florida, but they again bounced back immediately from a loss.
This time the Rangers battled their way to a 2-1 home win over Anaheim on Saturday night.

Washington also go into this game having made a good start to the season, winning five of their first seven.
The Capitals made a losing start to the season, falling to a 5-3 defeat when they hosted New Jersey, but they responded in style.
They got their first win of the season with 4-2 victory over Vegas, and backed that up with a 3-2 win when they hosted Dallas.
Washington then went out on the road to beat New Jersey 6-5 in overtime and Philadelphia 4-1 in regulation.
The Capitals made it five-in-a-row with a 6-3 win over Philadelphia, only to see that run end with a 3-0 defeat at Tampa Bay.
Verdict
New York have raced out of the blocks and will once again be a serious contender for the Stanley Cup.
They have dominated Washington in recent times too, so we fully expect the Rangers to take this.
