Columbus Crew vs New England Revolution Previews & Picks - Columbus Crew to down high-flying Revolution

Columbus Crew were able to defeat DC United in their last match to make it three wins in a row in the MLS. 

New England Revolution have enjoyed their last cluster of games, with their previous four matches ending in three wins and a draw. 

In 2022, the two sides found it tough to separate themselves on the pitch. When the Revolution hosted, they battled to a 2-2 draw, while the game ended goalless when the Crew were the home side. 

Columbus Crew have looked good in recent weeks, with matches against Atlanta United, Real Salt Lake and DC United culminating in nine points. 

This has seen the Crew move up to fourth in the table with 13 points, four behind Cincinnati at the top of the Eastern Conference. 

Victory in this one would see Columbus Crew move above their opponents in the table. While they have lost twice and drawn once, all of these have been on the road. At home, they have been perfect so far, winning their three matches in front of their own fans. 

New England Revolution have only lost once this season, with this coming at the hands of a very good LAFC side in their third game. 

Outside of this loss, they have enjoyed comfortable wins over Houston Dynamo and CF Montreal, along with tighter wins against Charlotte, Nashville and DC United. The only time they have dropped points outside of their single defeat came as they shared the points with New York City. 

A win in this match would see New England either keep the pressure on Cincinnati at the top, or move clear if the leaders drop points. However, the Revolution have tasted defeat only once this season, with this coming on the road.
