Man City vs Liverpool
The standout of the four FA Cup quarter-final ties kicks off the weekend as Man City take on Liverpool in a huge lunchtime clash.
Pep Guardiola’s side should be full of confidence after their impressive EFL Cup win against Arsenal two weeks ago, and with the Reds struggling on the road, a home win looks likely at the Etihad.
City have won both of this season’s Premier League meetings, and I expect the hosts to complete a hat-trick of victories this weekend.

Chelsea vs Port Vale
Later on Saturday, Chelsea face surprise package Port Vale in what should prove a routine home win for Liam Rosenior’s inconsistent side.
The League One outfit claimed the scalp of Sunderland in round five but seem unlikely to trouble the Blues this weekend. Vale have lost four of their last six matches, including a 4-0 defeat at Wycombe last weekend.

Southampton vs Arsenal
The third of Saturday’s quarter-finals sees Arsenal travel to Southampton as they look to bounce back from their disappointing League Cup final defeat.
Mikel Arteta’s side are solid on the road and usually respond well to setbacks. I expect the Premier League leaders to bounce back in what should be a competitive contest at St Mary’s.

West Ham vs Leeds
Wrapping up the weekend action, West Ham and Leeds turn their attention away from the relegation battle in what could prove the tightest tie of the round.
Both sides have shown improved form in 2026, and I expect goals at both ends in London. The Hammers have seen BTTS in seven of their last eight home fixtures.
