Inter Miami have returned to league duty as the Leagues Cup champions after downing all before them before beating the New York Red Bulls on their return to MLS duty.
Nashville were taken apart in a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Atlanta United in their last outing.

Inter Miami beat Nashville when the two sides met in the Leagues Cup final just over a week ago. In their last nine meetings, Inter have won three times, Nashville have four wins and there have been two draws.

Inter Miami's improvement with Lionel Messi in their squad has been remarkable, with the side romping to Leagues Cup success off the back of his signing.
Despite this stunning run, some were still worried that Miami would return to the MLS and see their awful streak continue. However, they were able to down the New York Red Bulls in a strong 2-0 win as Lionel Messi scored once again.
Their win was made all the more impressive when considering the Red Bulls actually enjoyed more possession, took more shots and hit the target with more of their efforts. Messi has done something to galvanise this side, and they are taking their chances and winning their games.
Nashville Form
Nashville have really struggled in the MLS of late, with their last four matches ending in defeat, while six of their last seven have ended in the outfit losing.
Following an excellent run in the Leagues Cup, Nashville might have hoped their league form would change. However, they were put to the sword immediately by Atlanta as they were hammered 4-0, with this their third defeat to nil in their last four games in the MLS.
If Nashville are to beat Inter then they have to find a way to get back to scoring goals, while they will need to curtail the influence of Messi too.
Verdict
I am backing Inter to find a way to win once again as Lionel Messi continues his brilliant scoring record for his new side.
