Inter Miami vs New England Revolution Previews & Picks - New England to make it two wins in a row

Inter Miami continued their resurgence following a six-game losing run by extending their winning streak to two matches as they downed Atlanta United 2-1.

New England Revolution defeated Toronto FC 2-0 in a battling performance on the road that allowed them to maintain their place at the top of the Eastern Conference. 

The two sides battled in a 2-2 draw in a club friendly back in February, while the Revolution have won two of their other four games, while Inter Miami have won the other two. While New England were beaten 3-2 the last time they travelled to face their opponents last year, in 2021, they humiliated Inter 5-0 on the road. 

Inter Miami began the season in fine form, beating CF Montreal and Philadelphia Union 2-0. They were then stunned as they were beaten six times in a row to see their good form in their opening games rendered pointless.

Since then, Inter have beaten Columbus Crew and Atlanta United to make it two victories in a row, with the side now just two points short of Orlando City in ninth. 

A win in this one could prove to be a real turning point in the home side's season as they look to ensure that their horrendous losing run does not come back to bite them later on in the season. 

New England Revolution extended their unbeaten run to eight games as they battled to a 2-0 win over Toronto FC to maintain their place at the top of the Eastern Conference. 

This was Revolution's third game without a defeat in a row on the road, with New England boasting the best away record in the Eastern Conference with three wins, one draw and one defeat in their opening five. 

Victory here would be another big statement for the Revolution, and they will fancy their chances after impressing away from home this year.
