Verdict

This game has all the makings of an outstanding pitching matchup.

While Manoah has been fantastic against the Rays this year – 2-1 with a 0.96 ERA and a .108 BAA – the rookie has struggled on the road (4.38 ERA) and has not pitched at Tropicana Field.

Meanwhile, Rasmussen has been nearly unhittable since entering the rotation and has been outstanding at Tropicana Field (2.94 ERA).
