Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays Picks & Betting Tips - Rays To Take Rubber Match

Toronto (85-66) couldn’t make up  any ground in the AL Wild Card race with Tuesday’s 4-2 victory over Tampa Bay as both Boston and New York also won. The Blue Jays, slotted in the second wild card spot, is 1.5 games behind the fourth place Red Sox and a-half game in front of the Yankees.

The Blue Jays have won four of six and are 7-3.  Toronto is 42-35 on the road and 64-46 vs. RHPs.

Bo Bichette broke a 2-2 with a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, his 98th of the season, and Toronto added one more run in the eighth as the Blue Jays defeated the Rays 4-2 on Tuesday night. The Jays outhit the Rays 8-5 and closer Jordan Romano worked out of a ninth inning bases loaded jam to pick up his 20th save.

Toronto has won four of the last six meetings against Tampa Bay. The Rays still lead the season-series 10-8 although the teams have split their eight matchups at Tropicana Field.
