They bounced back a week later by putting up 22 first-quarter points in a 60-10 demolition of Virginia Military Institute.

QB Dustin Crum has gone 24/43 for 269 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions through two games.

Crum has made an impact on the ground though, scampering for 130 yards and a score.

He is one of three players with over 100 yards rushing. Marquez Cooper has 161 yards and one TD on the ground, with Xavier Williams putting up 138.

Dante Cephas leads the team in receiving yards with 75, ahead of Nykiem Johnson who has 71 yards and a score.

Iowa have started their season with back-to-back wins over ranked opposition to climb the ladder.

The Hawkeyes jumped from #18 to #10 after a 34-6 win over #17 Indiana that was all but over before the half.

They then rose to #5 courtesy of a 27-17 rivalry win over #9 Iowa State.

QB Spencer Petras has gone 24/48 for 251 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

Sam Laporta has been on the receiving end of 104 of those yards and is the only WR with more than 40 yards.

Iowa’s offense is built around the ground game. Tyler Goodson has 40 carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Ivory Kelly-Martin has chipped in with 72 yards.

The defense has been outstanding, allowing just 11.5 yards per game through two games.

They have also forced seven takeaways and turned three of them into TDs.
