The Canadiens won’t have star goaltender Carey Price (illness) along with defensemen Joel Edmundson (illness) and Shea Weber (injured reserve) for tonight’s game. Sami Niku (concussion), Mike Hoffman lower body and Paul Byron (hip) have also been ruled out. 

RW Cole Caufield, who is a 20-year-old speedster, tallied 12 points in 20 postseason games last year.

C Mitchell Marner finished fourth in the league with 67 points last year, tallying 20 goals and 47 assists. He is currently dealing with an undisclosed issue and listed as day-to-day.
