They rallied with back-to-back wins on the road, beating Montreal 21-20 and Edmonton 32-14, only to then return home and lose 33-27 to Saskatchewan and 37-33 to Hamilton.
BC responded with a 41-38 overtime success in Hamilton and a 36-18 win at home to Montreal, but again they failed to keep that run going as they lost 52-34 in Toronto and 34-33 at Ottawa.
The Lions avoided a third consecutive defeat though, as they returned home to down Ottawa 38-27 last time out.
Calgary Stampeders Form
Calgary return from the bye week looking to get back to winning ways and improve their record to 9-4.
The Stampeders opened the season with back-to-back wins, and then responded to a defeat with three consecutive wins to reach 5-1.
They cooled off in late July as they were beaten 23-21 by Montreal and 31-11 in Ottawa, but they responded strongly by embarking on a three-game win streak.
Calgary went into their first bye week on the back of a 28-27 win over Winnipeg, and when they returned to action they beat Saskatchewan 32-15 and Edmonton 28-7.
The Stampeders failed to make it four wins in a row though, as they were beaten 31-19 in Edmonton.
