BC are closing in on a playoff place, having won their last two games to improve to 9-4 on the season.
The Lions raced out of the blocks, winning six of their first seven games with the only defeat coming to defending champions Toronto on the road, 45-24.
They cooled off in August though as they were crushed 50-14 at Winnipeg, and then failed to build on a 37-9 win against Calgary as they lost their next two games.
BC suffered a surprise 34-29 defeat at Saskatchewan, and then returned home for a 30-13 loss to Hamilton.
The Lions have got back on track though, following up a 34-25 victory at Montreal with a 41-37 victory over Ottawa.
Edmonton Elks Form
Edmonton are playing for nothing but pride, despite winning four of their last five games to reach 4-10.
The Elks’ season ended before it started as they lost nine consecutive games before finally getting off the mark in mid-August.
They ran out 24-10 winners at Hamilton, before returning home for a 30-20 victory over Ottawa.
Edmonton failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 35-31 at Calgary, but they have not lost since.
The Elks got back to winning ways at the expense of Calgary, 25-23, before heading out on the road to beat Saskatchewan 36-27.
Verdict
BC have battered Edmonton this season, and despite the Elks’ recent improvement we are expecting more of the same.
