BC return from the bye week looking to rebound from a road defeat that dropped them to 5-6.
The Lions enjoyed a winning start to the season, were failed to build any early momentum as they then dropped three straight games.
They began their climb back to .500 with road wins in Montreal, 21-20, and Edmonton, 32-14, only then suffer home defeats to Saskatchewan, 33-27, and Hamilton, 37-33, before their first bye.
BC rallied after they returned to action though, backing up a 41-38 overtime win in Hamilton with a 36-18 success at home to Montreal that got them to 5-5.
However, the Lions failed to make it three-in-a-row last time out, as they were beaten 52-34 on the road in Toronto.
Ottawa Redblacks Form
Ottawa also went into their second bye week of the season on the back of a loss, which left them 3-8 after their first 11 games.
The Redblacks opened the season with back-to-back defeats, before finally getting off the mark with a 20-12 victory in Calgary.
They failed to build on that victory though and went on a four-game losing skid as they fell 29-16 to Toronto, 39-33 in Edmonton, 23-20 at Hamilton, and 30-15 at home to the Tiger-Cats.
Ottawa rallied after their first bye week though, as they followed up a 31-11 win over Calgary with a 46-42 victory in Toronto.
The Redblacks failed to maintain that momentum however, as they were beaten 30-27 in Winnipeg and 30-20 at home to Edmonton.
Verdict
BC are back below .500 and their defense continues to give up a ton of points.
The offense has been in blistering form though, so we are backing the Lions to set a scoring pace that the Redblacks are unable to match.
