Calgary come into this game on the back of a couple of defeats that have dropped them to 4-10.
The Stampeders are yet to string together wins this season and have been on a 1-5 run since the first half of August.
A 37-9 defeat at the BC Lions sparked a season-worst three-game losing run that saw them fall 19-18 to Winnipeg and 39-31 at Toronto.
Calgary snapped that skid with a 35-31 win at home to Edmonton at the start of September, but their joy was short-lived.
The Stampeders lost the rematch with the Elks a week later, 25-23 on the road, and then suffered a 28-11 defeat at the hands of Montreal last time out.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats Form
Hamilton enter this game on the back of a loss that left them 6-8, one game behind second-placed Montreal in the East.
The Tiger-Cats were handed a rough schedule early in the season, resulting in them going 0-3 before their first bye.
They steadied the ship after the bye with three wins in their next five games, only to then lose games either side of their second bye, 27-14 to Montreal and 24-10 to Edmonton.
Hamilton kept themselves in the playoff picture with a 30-13 upset of the BC Lions on the road, and then rebounded from a 41-28 loss to Toronto with a 27-24 success at Ottawa.
The Tiger-Cats backed that up with a 29-23 upset of Winnipeg, only to suffer another defeat to the defending champion Argonauts, this time losing 29-14.
Verdict
Hamilton still have plenty to play for and are backed to take advantage of Calgary’s ‘travel sickness’ to record a much-needed win.
