Hamilton come into this game on the back of a couple of defeats that have dropped them to 3-6.
The Tiger-Cats were handed a nightmare run of games to start the season, resulting in three consecutive defeats.
They were beaten 42-31 at Winnipeg and 32-14 at defending champions Toronto, before dropping their home opener against Montreal, 38-12.
Hamilton finally got off the mark with a 21-13 win against Ottawa and a 37-29 victory at Edmonton, but failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 31-15 at home to Toronto.
The Tiger-Cats bounced back to win 16-12 at Ottawa, only to then lose back-to-back home games, falling 27-14 to Montreal and 24-10 to Edmonton.
BC Lions Form
BC return home looking to get back on track after losses in two of their last three games saw them slip to 7-3.
The Lions made a blistering start to 2023 as they won 25-15 at Calgary, and followed that up with a 22-0 shutout of Edmonton and an impressive 30-6 success against Winnipeg.
They fell short against defending champions Toronto in Week 4, losing 45-24, but they rebounded strongly to win their next three games.
BC beat Montreal 35-19 and Saskatchewan 19-9 at home, before winning 27-0 in Saskatchewan.
The Lions have lost a couple since then though, sandwiching a 37-9 win over Calgary with a 50-14 blowout loss at Winnipeg and a 34-29 defeat in Saskatchewan.
Verdict
BC’s form has dipped a little, but they have delivered consistently at home this season so we are backing them to cover as they take this.
