The Tiger-Cats opened the season with three consecutive defeats, but rebounded in July to win three of their next four.
They then lost either side of their second bye week of the season to drop to 3-6, only to get themselves back in the mix since then.
Hamilton have won three of their last four games, a sequence that started with a 30-13 upset of the BC Lions.
The Tiger-Cats then rebounded from a 41-28 loss to Toronto with a 27-24 success at Edmonton and a 29-23 upset of Winnipeg.

Toronto come into this game on a five-game win streak that has them sitting pretty at a league-best 11-1.
The Argonauts opened the season with six consecutive wins, before falling to a surprise 20-7 defeat at Calgary.
Their response has been emphatic though, starting with the 44-31 win against Ottawa before their second bye week.
Toronto returned to action with a 39-31 victory over Calgary, and then backed at that up with a 41-28 victory at Hamilton.
The Argonauts then took their streak to five games with back-to-back wins over Montreal, beating the Alouettes 39-10 at home and 23-20 on the road.
Verdict
Toronto are the best team in the league and have had Hamilton’s number all season, so we are sticking with the Argonauts despite the big spread.
