The Alouettes opened the season with back-to-back wins, only to suffer three consecutive defeats when they faced the cream of the crop.
A step down in opposition brought a return to winning ways, with a 25-18 win against Calgary sparking a four-game win streak.
Montreal again saw their form collapse when they faced the best teams though, losing 47-17 at Winnipeg and 34-25 to BC before suffering 39-10 and 23-20 defeats to Toronto.
The Alouettes were able to stop the rot last time out though, running out 28-11 winners in Calgary.
Ottawa Redblacks Form
Ottawa enter this matchup having finally snapped a seven-game losing skid with a victory last time out.
However, with a record of 4-10, the Redblacks need an absolute miracle to make it to the playoffs now.
They won three of their first six games, including a 31-28 overtime upset of Winnipeg, but the wheels quickly came off.
A 16-12 defeat to Hamilton sparked a seven-game losing run which destroyed any hopes Ottawa had of sealing a surprise playoff berth.
The Redblacks were able to end that sequence last week though, downing Saskatchewan 36-28 at home.
Verdict
Montreal’s only struggles this season have come against the best that the CFL has to offer, so we are confident that they will deliver on Saturday.
