They made a winning return to action with a 26-25 victory over Toronto, and then followed that up with a 23-21 success when they paid a visit to Calgary.
Montreal have not won since though, beginning a five-game losing skid with home defeats to Saskatchewan, 34-6, and Edmonton, 23-22.
The Alouettes then lost 36-18 at the BC Lions, before returning home to lose 26-13 to Winnipeg and 26-9 to Hamilton either side of the bye week.

The Roughriders opened the campaign with four consecutive wins, before seeing their perfect start finally come to an end with a 24-10 defeat to Calgary.
They responded to that setback by embarking on another four-game surge, backing up a 33-27 victory at BC with wins over Edmonton, 21-18, Montreal, 34-6, and Hamilton, 29-9.
Saskatchewan again saw a four-game tear end at the hands of Calgary, this time losing 32-15 to the Stampeders, but they rebounded quickly to win the next two.
The Roughriders have taken back-to-back meetings with Winnipeg, winning 34-30 at home and 21-13 on the road.
