Ottawa enter this matchup having already been eliminated from playoff contention thanks to their 4-11 record.
The Redblacks needed three weeks to get off the mark this season, but they failed to build on that June 21 success against Calgary as they dug themselves into an early hole.
They started 1-6, before returning from the bye week with a 31-11 win over Calgary and a 46-42 success at Toronto.
Ottawa failed to keep that going though, as their season was effectively ended by a 30-27 loss in Winnipeg and a 30-20 defeat to Edmonton.
The Redblacks did avoid a third straight loss, beating the BC Lions 34-33, only to then lose 38-27 at the Lions, 26-18 to Winnipeg and 20-13 to Saskatchewan.
Montreal Alouettes Form
Montreal go into this game having secured a place in the playoffs, but they still have a chance to win the East Division thanks to their 8-7 record.
The Alouettes opened the season with a 28-10 win over defending champions Toronto, and went on to win three straight before cooling off with back-to-back defeats before the bye.
They rallied after the break with a 26-25 win over Toronto and a 23-21 victory at Calgary, only to see their form go off the rails in August.
Montreal lost all four outings that month, and then saw their skid reach five games at the start of September with a 26-9 loss to Hamilton.
The Alouettes finally stopped the rot with a 48-31 win in Saskatchewan, and then clinched their playoff place by beating Toronto 21-19 and Calgary 38-20.
Verdict
Montreal may be in the postseason, but they still have something to play for with top spot in the division still within reach.
