Saskatchewan failed to maintain that good form as they then lost four of their next five games before pulling off upset wins over the BC Lions and Winnipeg.
The Roughriders’ form nose-dived after that though, as they lost seven straight to end the regular season with a 6-12 record.

Hamilton enter their home opener looking to get off the mark following a season-opening defeat a week ago.
The Tiger-Cats began their 2024 season on the road and fell to a 32-24 defeat at the Calgary, continuing a recent trend.
They have lost the season opener in each of the last four campaigns, and last year it took them four attempts to get off the mark.
Hamilton went 0-3 as they were handed a tough start to the campaign, but they did win eight of their next 15 games to scrape their way into the playoffs.
The Tiger-Cats went ‘one and done’ in the postseason however, as they were beaten 27-12 by eventual champions Montreal.

Hamilton made a losing start a week ago, but we are expecting a response here.
