  • Tournament being held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota
  • Preview, predictions, stats & form
The PGA Tour returns to Minnesota with the 3M Open up for grabs as the players race for FedEx Cup points with only two tournaments remaining in the regular season. Who will win the title at TPC Twin Cities on Sunday?

Tony Finau returns to defend his title after a three-stroke victory over Emiliano Grillo and Jungjae Im in 2022.

Past Major winners in the field include Stewart Cink, Jason Dufner, Lucas Glover, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, Jimmy Walker and Gary Woodland.

These are our selections that could win the title this weekend.

Cameron Young

Cameron Young had a decent beginning to his season, finishing T53 at the ZOZO Championship, T23 at the CJ Cup, 3rd at the Hero World Challenge, T13 at the Tournament of Champions, T26 at the American Express, 2nd at the PIF Saudi International (Asian Tour) and 64th at the WM Phoenix Open.

Young bounced back to form by placing T20 at the Genesis Invitational, T10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T51 at the Players Championship, 2nd at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play and T7 at the Masters.

The American struggled with his game after his performance at Augusta National, finishing T51 at the RBC Heritage, T59 at the Wells Fargo Championship, MC at the PGA Championship, MC at the Memorial Tournament and T57 at the RBC Canadian Open.

He then finished T32 at the US Open and T60 at the Travelers Championship before regaining his touch, placing T6 at the John Deere Classic and T8 at the Open Championship last weekend.

The 26-year-old makes his debut at the 3M Open in Minnesota this weekend.

Young has yet to secure his maiden PGA Tour title but will fancy his chances to lift the trophy at TPC Twin Cities come Sunday after his recent display at the Open Championship.

Sungjae Im

Sungjae Im has an excellent start to his season on the PGA Tour, placing 7th at the Shriners Children's Open, T29 at the ZOZO Championship, T34 at the CJ Cup, T8 at the Hero World Challenge, T13 at the Tournament of Champions, MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T18 at the American Express, T4 at the Farmers Insurance Open, and T6 at the WM Phoenix Open before finishing T56 at the Genesis Invitational and T42 at the Honda Classic.

The 25-year-old shrugged off those two indifferent performances by placing T21 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T6 at the Players Championship, T17 at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play, T16 at the Masters, T7 at the RBC Heritage, 6th at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship before securing victory in his homeland at the Woori Financial Group Championship (KPGA Korean Tour).

Sungjae Im's form has dipped since that triumph, missing the cut at the PGA Championship and Charles Schwab Challenge, finishing T41 at the Memorial Tournament, MC at the US Open, T29 at the Travelers Championship, T24 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, MC at the Genesis Scottish Open and T20 at the Open Championship last weekend.

The Korean has two appearances at this event in his career, placing T15 in 2019 and T2 in 2022.

Im went close to winning the 3M Open last year and will look to go one better this weekend.

Stephan Jaeger

Stephan Jaeger had a decent beginning to his PGA Tour season, missing the cut three times in 16 starts, with his best achievements being T43 at the Fortinet Championship, T30 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, T40 at the ZOZO Championship, T9 at the Houston Open, T28 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T36 at the American Express, T40 at the Genesis Invitational, T14 at the Honda Classic and T27 at the Valspar Championship.

Jaeger has been featuring higher up the leaderboard lately, placing T18 at the Mexico Open, T27 at the Well Fargo Championship, T11 at the AT&T Byron Nelson, T50 at the PGA Championship, T68 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T24 at the Memorial Tournament, T64 at the Travelers Championship, T9 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, T13 at the John Deere Classic and T34 at the recent Barracuda Championship.

The 34-year-old German has featured twice at TPC Twin Cities, finishing T66 in 2019 and missing the cut in 2022.

Jaeger has been thereabouts and can feature prominently at the 3M Open this weekend.

Lucas Glover

Lucas Glover struggled with form in his first 18 tournaments on the PGA Tour this season, missing the cut on nine occasions, with his best results being T38 at the World Wide Technology Championship, T39 at the WM Phoenix Open, T51 at the Players Championship, T36 at the Valspar Championship and 45th at the Valero Texas Open.

Glover rediscovered his touch in June, placing T20 at the RBC Canadian Open, MC at the Travelers Championship, T4 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, T6 at the John Deere Classic and 5th at the Barbasol Championship.

The former US Open Champion has contested the 3M Open three times, placing T7 in 2019 before missing the cut in 2020 and 2022.

Glover has been threatening to win in his last three starts and is the long-shot value bet in Minnesota.

Verdict

Young has gone close in recent starts and has claims to win the title in Minnesota.

Sungjae Im will fancy his chances to win the 3M Open if he can replicate his form from earlier in the season.

Jaeger has been posting solid results and offers excellent value at TPC Twin Cities.

Glover has been playing well lately and should enter calculations this weekend.
