The LIV Golf Invitational Series returns to Miami for the second time this season, where the players will team up in Florida to compete for the grand prize of $50 million. Which group of players will secure the team championship come Sunday?

These are our four team selections that could win the title this weekend.
Team 4 Aces
Dustin Johnson was unable to defend his LIV Golf League individual points title; however, he did achieve top results this season, placing 7th in Orlando, 10th in Adelaide, victory in Tulsa, T8 at Valderrama, 5th in London, T9 in Chicago and T6 in Jeddah.
Patrick Reed went close to winning his first title on the LIV Golf Tour this season on multiple occasions, with his best results being T3 in Orlando, T3 in Adelaide, T5 at Valderrama, T2 in London and T3 in Bedminster.
Pat Perez had a mediocre overall season, with his best performances being T7 at Mayakoba, T13 in Tucson, T3 in Adelaide, T18 in Tulsa, T18 in DC and T6 in London.
Peter Uihlein enjoyed a solid second season on the LIV Golf Tour, finishing 2nd in Mayakoba, T10 in Tucson, T8 in Orlando, T7 in Adelaide, T11 in Singapore, T15 in DC, T17 in London, T5 in Chicago and T11 in Jeddah.
Team 4 Aces have received a bye into the quarter-finals.
Team RangeGoats
Bubba Watson failed to put together any outstanding results this season, with his best being T20 in Tucson, T11 in Adelaide, T23 in Singapore, T8 in Tulsa, T18 in Bedminster and T24 in Chicago.
Talor Gooch was the stand-out player during the second season of the LIV Golf Series, capturing the individual points title by winning in Adelaide, Singapore, and Valderrama. Additional highlights include placing T7 in Grennbrier, T5 in Chicago and 2nd in Jeddah.
Thomas Pieters had a satisfactory first season in the LIV Golf League, with his best results being T16 in Orlando, T23 in Singapore, T14 at Valderrama, T6 in London, T25 in Bedminster and T11 in Chicago.
Harold Varner III has been in great touch in 2023, placing T16 in Orlando, T11 in Adelaide, T8 in Singapore, 4th in Tulsa, victory in DC, T11 in London, 6th in Greenbrier and T3 in Jeddah.
Team RangeGoats will also receive a bye into the quarter-finals.
Team Torque
Joaquin Niemann has produced above-average results this season, placing T11 in Mayakoba, T8 in Singapore, T8 in Tulsa, T10 at Valderrama, T7 in Bedminster and T9 in Jeddah.
Sebastian Munoz went close to securing his maiden title on the LIV Golf Tour this season, placing T7 in Mayakoba, 2nd in Orlando, T4 in DC, 4th at Valderrama and 4th in Chicago.
Mito Pereira was ultra-consistent in his performances this year, finishing T15 in Mayakoba, T6 in Tucson, T5 in Orlando, 5th in Singapore, 3rd in DC, T14 at Valderrama, 2nd in Greenbrier and T6 in Jeddah.
David Puig has yet to find his stride during the 2023 LIV Golf Invitational Series, with his best results being T20 in Tucson, T22 in Orlando, T12 in DC, T5 at Valderrama, T3 in Greenbrier and T24 in Jeddah.
Team Torque have received a bye into Saturday's quarter-finals.
Team Stinger
Louis Oosthuizen achieved solid results during the first half of the season before fading as the year progressed, finishing T2 in Tucson, T11 in Adelaide, T16 in Singapore, T6 in DC, 4th in London and T18 in Chicago.
Dean Burmester enjoyed an impressive first season in the LIV Golf League, placing T3 in Orlando, T7 in Adelaide, T8 in Tulsa, T15 in DC, T14 at Valderrama, T17 in London, T7 at Greenbrier, T3 in Bedminster, T18 in Chicago and T17 in Jeddah.
Branden Grace has been the most valuable player for Team Stinger this season, with his best results being 3rd in Mayakoba, T10 in Tucson, T2 in Tulsa, 2nd in DC, T7 at Greenbrier and 6th in Bedminster.
Charl Schwartzel has not produced any fireworks compared to last season on the LIV Golf Tour, finishing T16 in Orlando, T7 in Adelaide, T18 in Bedminster, T18 in Chicago and T17 in Jeddah.
Team Stinger finished fifth overall in the points standings and will compete on Friday for a quarter-final birth.
Format
The top four seeded teams receive a bye, whilst the 5th through to 12th seeded teams compete in match-play competitions on Friday. Two singles matches and one alternate-shot foursome match will take place.
The four team winners from Friday merge with the top four seeds to play in the same format on Saturday. Four teams earning two points will advance to Sunday’s championship round.
All 48 players will compete in twosomes on Sunday, with the team captains playing together, and all four scores count towards the team’s final score.
The four teams that won in the semi-finals will compete for 1st through 4th place. The team with the lowest score is the LIV Golf Invitational Series Team Champion.
The four teams eliminated in the semi-finals will compete for 5th through 8th place. The four teams eliminated in the quarter-finals will compete for 9th through 12th place.
Verdict
Team RangeGoats will look to individual points champion Talor Gooch to lead from the front to secure the team championship in Miami.
Team Torque have been consistent throughout the season and can convert those performances into victory at the Trump National Doral Golf Club.
Team Stinger finished fourth in the team event last year and will look to go all the way and win the team competition in Florida this weekend.
