QBE Shootout Preview & Picks - Best Picks For Florida
- The QBE Shootout takes place between December 9-11
- The tournament takes place at the Tiburon Golf Club, Naples, Florida
- Preview, teams, stats and tips

Twenty-four of the world's premier golfers team in pairs to contest the QBE Shootout at the Tiburon Golf Club in Florida. Which team will lift the trophy come Sunday?
Jason Kokrak and Kevin Na have not returned to defend their title after their victory last year, as they have joined the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
Three Major winners are in the lineup: Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson and Jason Day.
The teams will compete on the Gold course for this unofficial PGA Tour event.
The Format
The QBE Shootout is contested from Friday to Sunday, comprising two golfers per team.
Round one is the Scramble format. Each golfer drives off the tee, and then the team decides on the best shot of the two. Both players will then play their second shot from this position and so forth until the completion of the hole.
Round two is the Modified Alternate Shot format, where each golfer tees off, and then the team decides which golf shot is best. The golfer whose tee shot is not selected will play next, and the players will alternate until the completion of the hole.
Round three is Better Ball or Four-Ball, where both players hit their ball off the tee and will play their ball from where it lies. The team's score for each hole is the lower score between the two players.
Jason Day and Billy Horschel
Jason Day has found consistency in his last four tournaments on the PGA Tour, placing T8 at the Shriners Children's Open, T11 at the CJ Cup in South Carolina, T21 at the World Wide Technology Championship, T16 at the Houston Open before missing the cut at the RSM Classic.
The 35-year-old Australian won the QBE Shootout in 2014 when he partnered with Cameron Tringale and placed 4th with Marc Leishman in 2021.
Billy Horschel has been in excellent form lately, placing T21 at the Tour Championship, T9 at the BMW PGA Championship, T10 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T7 at the CJ Cup in South Carolina, T56 at the World Wide Technology Championship and T13 at the recent Hero World Challenge.
The 18th world-ranked golfer has a proven track record at this event finishing fourth in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019 and placing second with Sam Burns in 2021.

Before those performances, the Austrian placed second at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T28 at the BMW Championship, T7 at the Tour Championship and second at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He was also the winner of the Honda Classic in February.
