Philadelphia will aim to avoid back-to-back home defeats in the National League Championship Series.
The Phillies booked their place in the playoffs with a 90-72 record and swept Miami in the Wild Card round, beating the Marlins 4-1 and 7-1.
They then upset and Atlanta team that finished 14 games ahead of them in the NL East Division, winning the series 4-1.
Philadelphia split the first two games on the road, winning 3-0 before losing 5-4, before returning home to clinch with 10-2 and 2-1 wins.
The Phillies took quick command of the series against Arizona with back-to-back home wins, winning 5-3 and 10-0, and they then bounced back from 2-1 and 6-5 defeats on the road with a 6-1 victory.
That gave them the chance to clinch at home on Monday night, but they passed up that opportunity with a 5-1 defeat.
Verdict
Arizona have fought valiantly to take Philadelphia all the way to Game 7 in this series.
However, the Phillies are a team who tend to play their best baseball at home, so we are confident that they will bounce back from last night's loss.
