San Diego are tipped to avenge last night's loss to San Francisco.
The Padres made life miserable for Giants starter Kai-Wei Teng when the two teams met last week, and they can do the same in this latest meeting.

San Francisco went into this series on the back of a victory, but in rough form having lost seven of their previous eight games.
The Giants enjoyed a strong start to August as they won five of their first seven outings, but they were unable to keep that good form going after a 5-0 home win over Washington.
They lost the next two games against the Nationals, 4-2 and 8-0, and that ended up being the start of a seven-game losing skid for the California franchise.
San Francisco were then swept at home by San Diego, suffering 4-1, 5-1 and 11-1 defeats at the hands of the Padres, before dropping the first two meetings with Tampa Bay, 7-6 and 2-1.
The Giants rallied to take the series finale though, 7-1, and backed that up with a 4-3 success in the opening game of this series.

San Diego came into this series having been swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but having won nine of their previous 15 games.
The Padres kicked off the month by sandwiching an 8-5 loss to St Louis with 4-1 and 7-3 wins, before moving on to Arizona where they rebounded from a 6-2 defeat with 10-5 and 3-2 victories.
Then then returned home for a series against Boston, and responded to a 10-2 defeat to the Red Sox by reeling off 5-4 and 6-2 victories.
San Diego backed up those successes as they travelled to San Francisco to sweep the Giants with 4-1, 5-1 and 11-1 wins, but they have not won since.
The Padres lost 3-2, 6-0 and 5-4 as they were swept by the Dodgers to end last week, and they opened this week with a 4-3 defeat to San Francisco.
Verdict
San Diego have dropped four straight, but tonight's meeting is just what the doctor ordered.
Kei-Wei Teng had an absolute nightmare when the two teams met last week, and the Padres can get after him again to snap their skid.
