The Celtics rode a season-best 11-game win streak between February and March that was eventually ended by back-to-back road defeats.
They were beaten 105-104 in Cleveland and 115-109 at Denver, but responded with road wins at Phoenix, 117-107, Portland, 121-99, and Utah, 123-107, to spark a nine-game streak.
Boston kept that run going with home wins against Phoenix (127-112), Detroit (119-94) and Milwaukee (122-119) and a road success in Washington (130-104).
The Celtics then took their run to nine games with a 129-102 victory in Detroit and a 124-113 win in Chicago, only to see it finally end with a 120-118 defeat in Atlanta on Monday.

Atlanta enter this matchup having now won three consecutive games, including a Monday meeting with Boston.
The Hawks reeled off three consecutive wins in Atlanta, but failed to keep that going as they then lost each of their next three games.
They steadied the ship with a 110-93 victory at the LA Clippers, only to then wrap up that road trip with two more losses.
Atlanta were blown out at the Los Angeles Lakers, 136-105, and then suffered a 128-115 defeat in Phoenix.
The Hawks have bounced back since returning home though, beating Charlotte 132-91, upsetting Boston 120-118, and downing Portland, 120-106.
Verdict
Boston dropped the ball on Monday night and we are not expecting repeat scenes in this latest meeting with Atlanta.
