Brooklyn head to the Garden looking to rebound from their third defeat in four games, which has left them with a 5-7 record.

The Nets made a slow start as they dropped three of their first four, but they got back to .500 by the start of November as they won 119-106 in Memphis and beat Chicago 120-112 at home.

They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 106-92 to Detroit, but they did bounce back immediately by beating Memphis 106-104.

Brooklyn failed to follow that up as they went out on the road to lose 108-104 (OT) in Boston and 105-100 in Cleveland.

The Nets avoided a third straight loss as they won 107-105 in New Orleans, only to then lose 139-114 when they hosted Boston.

New York enter this matchup on an underwhelming run of for, having lost four of the last six to slip to 5-6.

The Knicks lost their season-opener at defending champions Boston, but quickly rallied to win three of the next four.

They failed to keep that run going though, as they went out on the road and lost 109-97 in Houston and 121-116 at Atlanta.

New York avoided a third straight loss with a 116-94 victory over Milwaukee, only to then lose 132-121 in Indiana.

The Knicks responded with a 111-99 victory in Philadelphia, but they again failed to follow up a loss as they were beaten at home by Chicago, 124-123.
