Boston then travelled to Philadelphia to beat the 76ers 118-110, setting up a mouth-watering clash with Eastern Conference leaders Cleveland.
The Celtics took the bragging rights at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, downing the Cavaliers 112-105.
Verdict
Boston are the better team and are expected to win, but they do not make for an appealing spread selection.
