They rebounded on the road though, as they beat Toronto 112-108 before moving on to Los Angeles to beat the Clippers 102-94.
Denver then made it three-in-a-row with a 124-117 victory over Chicago at home, but that proved to be their final pre-season success.
The Nuggets wrapped up their schedule on the road, losing 94-91 at defending champions Oklahoma City.

Golden State enter their home opener looking to back-up their comfortable win on opening night.
The Warriors kicked off the 2025/26 season with a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers, and returned home with a 119-109 victory in the books.
