The Nuggets then returned home to take the lead in the series for the first time, riding an epic performance from Nikola Jokic to a 112-97 victory.

Minnesota return home on the brink of elimination following three consecutive defeats to Denver.
The Timberwolves, who went 56-26 in the regular season, sent a message to their rivals in the opening round of the playoffs as they swept Phoenix in four games.

However, the Timberwolves surrendered the series lead at home, losing 117-90 and 115-107, and then went back to Denver to lose 112-97, leaving them one game away from going out.
