The Pistons lost three straight in the second half of November, losing 122-112 at home to Chicago before falling to road defeats in Charlotte, 123-121, and Orlando, 111-100.
They avoided a fourth straight loss, beating Toronto 102-100 at home, only to then lose 131-111 when they visited Memphis.
Detroit responded immediately by winning 130-106 in Indiana, but they failed to back that up as they lost back-to-back home games, 111-96 to Philadelphia and 129-107 to Milwaukee.
The Pistons then lost 13-120 in Boston, before moving on to New York where they snapped their skid with a 120-111 victory.

The Celtics began this sequence with a seven-game win streak that was sparked by a 139-114 victory on Brooklyn.

Boston returned home to blow out Miami, 108-89, before beating Detroit 130-120 and Milwaukee 111-105.
The Celtics failed to make it four home wins in a row though, as they were beaten 127-121 by Memphis last Saturday.
