Golden State go into the second half of this back-to-back at Minnesota in good form, having won seven of their previous 10 games.

The Warriors began this good run at home as they followed up a 120-113 victory over Milwaukee with a 137-103 blowout of Sacramento.

They failed to make it three-in-a-row as they fell 124-111 to Atlanta, but they responded to that loss with a 119-97 rout of Portland, sparking a four-game surge.

Golden State beat New York 126-113, Charlotte 136-116 and Miami 135-112, before seeing their run end with a 145-127 home loss to Toronto.

The Warriors followed that with a 123-115 defeat in Dallas, but they got back to winning ways last night as they won 111-85 in Minnesota.

Minnesota Timberwolves Form

Minnesota enter his matchup in desperate need of a victory, having seen their losing skid reach five games last night.

The Timberwolves were on a roll in early January as they kicked off 2026 with four consecutive victories, starting with a 125-115 win in Miami.

They then beat Washington 141-115 on the road, before heading back home to down Miami 122-94 and Cleveland 131-122.

Minnesota then rebounded from a 146-134 defeat in Cleveland by beating San Antonio 104-103 at home and Milwaukee 139-106 on the road, but they have not won since.

The Timberwolves were beaten 110-105 in Houston, 126-123 at San Antonio and 127-122 in Utah, before returning back to the Target Center to fall 120-115 to Chicago and 111-85 to Golden State.

Verdict

Minnesota have now lost five straight games and that is a major red flag against them as the favorite in this one.
